Dr. Isbrandt graduated from North Central College in Naperville, IL in 1982 with a B.A. degree in Biology. He then went on to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1986.
After graduating from dental school, he enlisted in the U.S. Public Health Service where he practiced dentistry with underserved populations in the United States for more than four years. In addition to his general dental license, Dr. Isbrandt has had extensive training in orthodontics including Invisalign, implantology and endodontics. He also had training on seperate occassions at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and completed an externship at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD.
Dr. Isbrandt started his first dental practice in 1992 in Bartlett, IL. After 6 years, he transitioned his practice from Bartlett to St. Charles, where the practice is currently located. Dr. Isbrandt enjoys performing all aspects of dentistry, but he particularly enjoys doing cosmetics, orthodontics and Cerec (single visit crown) restorations.
Dr. Isbrandt resides in Campton Hills with his wife and has three grown children. When he’s not practicing dentistry, he enjoys playing golf, hiking, snow skiing and biking.
Mary has been with our practice since August, 2009. She has over a decade of experience working in the dental field. She truly enjoys working in a positive and comforting work enviroment and strives to provide every patient with an amazing experience in our office. She and her husband have resided in Elgin all their lives and raised their four children there, as well. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoys going camping with her family, friends and English Retriever, Major.
Mel joined our team in May 2017. She has been working in the field of dentistry for over 25 years. Needing braces as a child gave Mel an early introduction to the dental office. Mel felt the braces not only changed her smile, but her entire life. This influenced her to want to make the same impact in our patients’ lives. At home, Mel enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her daughter. She loves to “eat, drink & be merry”
Sara has been in dentistry since graduating from ECC’s Dental Assisting program in 2005. She is a board certified dental assistant with multiple certifications including radiography, infection control, coronal polishing, fluoride application and sealant placement. Sara prides herself on creating long lasting relationships with her patients and keeping up with continuing education classes in order to provide the best quality of care. She loves being an “Aunty” and spending time with her husband and family. In her free time she is busy crafting/completing DIY projects, singing, enjoying nature, and loving her fur-babies!
Erin has been a dental hygenist with Dr. Isbrandt’s office since graduating in 2006. Having grown up in St. Charles, she decided to move back to the area after completing her BS degree in Dental Hygiene at East Tennessee State University. Erin’s kind disposition and vast dental knowledge allows her to give her patients the ultimate care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading books and playing with her Airedale Terrier, Sadie.
Michelle graduated from Marquette University in 1990 with a bachelors degree in dental hygiene. She has been practicing hygiene in the Fox Valley area for the past 18 years. The most enjoyable part of Michelle’s job is building a great relationship with her patients. She finds that creating trust, as well as providing valuable education is of the utmost value. She stays active in her spare time with family and friends and enjoys cross training, reading and traveling.
Cheryl has been practicing dental hygiene for over 20 years. She received an AAS from the College of DuPage and a BSDH from Southern Illinois University. After graduating, she spent 8 years practicing in Switzerland. Cheryl is very passionate about educating patients on oral health and developing lasting relationships. She resides in Geneva with her husband and 2 children. In her free time, Cheryl enjoys gardening, reading and travel.
